Message From The 40 Under 40 President

In 2004, Dexter Bridgeman created Success South Florida Magazine, his vision was to recognize the accomplishments and achievements of Black South Floridians. In 2011, Success South Florida changed its name to Legacy. In 2015 Miami Herald Publisher Alex Villoch was the Keynote Speaker of the 2015 Legacy 40 Under 40 Reception. She challenged Legacy to eradicate the brain drain that existed in the Black community. In 2018, Legacy selected an Executive Board and tasked them with the responsibility of coming up with a strategy of eliminating the brain drain in our community. As President of the Legacy 40 Under 40, along with all the Board members we have accepted the challenge made by Alex Villoch. Our purpose is to develop an ecosystem where Black Professionals in South Florida can grow both personally and professionally. Through networking mixers, educational forums, and various social engagements, we will enable professionals to come together and grow their network that will lead to a greater integration of our communities and ultimately benefit us all.

Best Regards,

Dr. Alexia Q. Rolle
